History Details For - Fishing Creek8/18/1780Major Banastre Tarleton's cavalry pursued the American army after their defeat at Camden. Tarletons detachment attacked 700 men under Thomas Sumter. The attack was very sudden with 150 Americans getting killed and another 300 being wounded.Links:
