History Details For - Dogger Bank8/15/1781The only battle of the war between the Dutch and the British took place 60 miles off the British coast. Here, 13 ships under the command of Admiral Hyde Parker, the British North Sea commander encountered a Dutch fleet of the same size under Admiral Zoutman. Both fleets were damaged, the Dutch losing 1 ship, both sides had about 500 casualties and went home for repairs.Links:
