Current Yield of a Bond
This is one of the simplest formulas associated with bond investing, and one of the most important. This yield will tell an investor the percentage that they earn on a bond investment. This is important because it provides the investor with an indication of the current return they will earn on their investment during the current period.
For those of you who want to know the formula for the yield;
Current Yield = Annual interest payment / Price of the Bond
